Last night after dinner we all just hung out in the out door common area and talked until the wee hours of the morning but decided that yoga at 8am would be a good idea.  It seems to be catching on this little routine of ours.  So this morning, right at around 8am the group congregated by the pool and we waited to go to the beach.  It was quite cool which is nice though because once the sun is up, it will definitely warm up quickly!

There are several people that had never done yoga before so we took things very slowly and just did a couple rounds of Sun Salutes as well as Trikonasana (triangle pose) and then came back for breakfast.  Afterwards, I went back to Los Abrigos with some new guys that arrived late last night from Manchester: Joe and Rick.  I was finally able to send off the post card that I had in my possession for two weeks.  At least now it can be on its way.  Hopefully it won't take as long as the post card from Monaco which almost took a month to arrive in the States!

I wanted to contribute to the Indian crepes that Federico was going to make tonight so I thought I would make some daal with the lentils that I had picked up yesterday.  I found a really easy recipe for daal and I decided to try it out.  When we got back to the hostel it was still early and there was an electrician installing an electrical plug on my bunk!  That is so exciting as now I can plug in my cell phone right by my bed!

The daal was actually really easy to make and only took about forty minutes in total (without the soaking time) and it was delicious with the crepes.  The crepes are basically regular crepes but it has a hit of cumin in it batter.  I will have to ask Federico again if it was just flour, cumin, and water.  He made both sweet and savoury crepes.  In the savoury ones, he used a gorgonzola cheese, and the sweet ones, there was one with honey, one with marmalade, and one with strawberry jam.  Everything was absolutely fantastic and now I just have to decide what to make tomorrow.  I've already made the hummus, but what to go with it?
