Tenerife Tenerife Ken Ku

Even though it was a frustrating and long travel day, as soon as Francesco picked me up from Tenerife Sur Reina Sofia Airport, I felt all the tension melt away.  I knew that I was really able to enjoy my time here.  I have absolutely no plans for the time I am here but I know that I will definitely enjoy the beaches and the ocean.  Possibly go scuba diving, several times (if I can budget it in somehow).  For those of you reading, my birthday is coming up, so I am accepting donations!  I'm just teasing.

I did take a walk after resting for a little bit to the local grocery store and met some people on the way.  I took a wrong turn and went into a small village.  They were all really nice and friendly too.  They asked me where I was from we talked for a little bit.  I find that going to small towns a lot more interesting than going to the big cities.  People are not afraid to talk to you.  There is not the distance between people.  I am looking forward to spending more time tomorrow actually exploring the beaches and the other islands as well in the upcoming weeks.
